Preserve Your Stature By Using An Inversion Stretch Table.

Not all people are born to be tall. That being said, being tall is an asset. You can consider your DNA for clues to your height, but this will not really alter your height. But, instead of complaining about your height you can look for means to preserve whatever height you have been given. You can’t actually increase your height through the judicious use of an inversion stretch table, but you can definitely work at keeping what you have.

You may have heard of all those wonder drinks and supplements that claim to make you taller. Do these truly work? Maybe they do, but what could be the logic behind their claims? Understanding how something works is significant so that you can really make sure that it can produce good results. So how can an inversion stretch table make someone grow taller?

Your spine supports everything. Within the back there are many vertebrae that lend support to our torso, neck and head while also supporting many of our organs. Between each vertebrae is a disc that acts similar to a shock. It permits the spine to flex and bend. However, with the everyday pressure that we subject our backbones to, these disc become compressed. This compression can lead to long-term back pain and can also contribute to a distorted back.

The compression of the discs can also mean a some loss in height. To recover this height, loosening the spine should be done, and this can be done with an inversion stretch table. Moving back and forth on it decompresses the back muscles and decompresses the discs in the backbone. It also gives some distance between the vertebrae. So if your whole spine is stretched, this only means that you can be as tall as your body can permit.

Not only that, you can also have improved posture with the help of an inversion stretch table. If you really think about it, a bad posture can impact ones height. If you are constantly hunching down, chances are you will seem shorter, let alone that you are straining your back muscles and joints further. With good posture, one can be more at ease and look taller at the same time.

Scoliosis can also benefit from using inversion therapy as a companion to your current back exercises. The curve of your back can also throw off your height. Inversion therapy will help with the realignment of your back, but in this case it is important to consult with your physician before you start.

It is well documented that at a given point in our lifetime we stop growing. Then to make things worse, thanks to gravity, time and pressure, your body starts to shrink. This shrinking can lead to up to 2 inches of lost height. You can however use an inversion stretch table to help delay this height loss and preserve a healthy back well into your later years.
